Srinagar 16/9/2015:  Conference on “Scope of Rehabilitation Medicine in Clinical Practice” followed by workshop on Lumbar Interventional Pain Procedures will be conducted on 19th September at SKIMS Auditorium. The event is being organized by Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, SKIMS in-collaboration with Indian Association of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (IAPMR).

Director SKIMS Dr. Showkat Zargar complimented the department for organinsing the event and said it is great opportunity for medical practitioners of various specialties to learn and discuss the emerging trends in the related field. The events organized by various departments are of great academic significance and international faculty from various specialties participating in these events is added advantage for students to interact with them, he added.

Organising Chairman Dr. Sheikh Javeed informed that it is first such conference being organized by department of PMR SKIMS in past 30 years.  Around 300 delegates will attend the mega  event and faculty of international repute from various areas of Medicine, Orthopaedics, Paedetrics, Neurology and Plastic Surgery will participate in the event, he added.
