DONATE TO HELP POOR AND NEEDY

SKIMS appeal all philanthropists, civil society members and respectable citizens of the State to contribute towards SKIMS ENDOWMENT FUND created & approved by Governing Body SKIMS vide No. 779-GAD of 2010, Dated: 06-07-2010, under which financial assistance is provided to poor patients who are suffering from life threatening diseases such as cancer, advances heart problems, kidney, liver transplantation and other poor patients who need immediate financial help for medical diseases. So far one hundred sixteen (116) patients have received financial assistance. We request all to contribute generously towards this fund to help poor patients who suffer from life threatening diseases and support us to save precious life. You may deposit / credit the money (Zakat, Sadqat) in the account number SB-15060 J&K Bank, SKIMS Soura.

The Govt. of Jammu & Kashmir facilitate sufficient funds for carrying out the smooth patient care services but still there are over 50% of the population in the State below poverty line and are unable to manage specialized treatment. To provide financial assistance to such people living below poverty line and falling under the low income group, SKIMS has created this fund to help poor and needy.

The poor fund scheme does exist in other tertiary hospitals of the country. The account will be audited from time to time.
