Director SKIMS appreciates Rehanaha Kounser for receiving National Florence Nightingale Award



Srinagar 20, 2015: Director SKIMS Dr. Showkat Zargar appreciated Rehana Kounsar Staff Nurse SKIMS for receiving the National Florence Nightingale award for her commendable services in nursing. She received award from the president of India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee on International Nursing Day.


Dr. Showkat Zargar congratulated her for brining laurels to the institute.


Rehana Kounsar is working as a staff nurse since 1994 and has various achievements to her credit which includes voluntary work for cancer patients and services to people during the devastating floods of J&K in 2014. She has also participated in a number of conferences and published various research papers in national and international journals where her contribution to the scientific deliberations have been acknowledged and appreciated. She has also been felicitated by Govt. of J&K on several occasions for her work and services.
