| REBUTTAL : AV Fistula Surgical Procedure |

This is in reference to the surgical procedure AV Fistula not being performed in SKIMS for the past six months and patients are made to suffer which is not factually correct. In the last one and half months, thirty-three (33) cases have been done. However, earlier procedure was being done in Emergency OT which has been stopped so that emergency surgeries are not affected. But currently, Main OT (4 & 5) is being utilized for the same as and when required and no service has been stopped. We request all not to circulate any information without ascertaining from concerned authorities which creates unnecessary confusion in the general public affecting patient care.
