Inaugurates Sampoorna Suraksha Kendra At SKIMS

Srinagar 9th August, 2023 : Sampoorna Suraksha Kendra inaugurated today at SKIMS by Ms. V. Hekali Zhimomi Additional Secretary & DG NACO MOH& FW, GOI along  Director, SKIMS Prof. M Ashraf Ganie and Project Director, J&K AIDS Control Society under Sampoorna Suraksha program focussed  to cover 'at-risk' HIV negative populations through a cyclical and comprehensive package of services as per their needs to keep them HIV- negative, thus boosting the country's progress on prevention of new HIV infections.
On the occasion Additional Secretary also presented  NABL Accreditation Certificate & Certificate of Excellence to Director SKIMS Prof. M. Ashraf Ganie and HOD Immunology SKIMS Prof. Zaffar Amin Shah.
Director SKIMS Prof. M Ashraf Ganie welcomed  additional Secretary and other dignitaries present on the occasion . He expressed his gratitude to the team from  MoH& FW and thanked for the support. Director SKIMS briefed the team headed by Additional Secretary & DG NACO about the facilities & infrastructure in place at SKIMS and desired that SKIMS should be brought into the ambit of various national schemes which will provide better facilitataion to the people and enhance further capacity building at the SKIMS.
Additional Secretary & DG NACO Ms. Hikali appreciated SKIMS administration for the services and assured full support while interacting with the  faculty &  officers at SKIMS.
Later she visited Viral Diagnostic Research Lab Of Microbiology Department  and other related facilities at SKIMS.
